Fremont Concert Kicks Off Our Summer Season!

We had a great time in Fremont at our first outdoor concert of the season! Perfect weather, fun audience and to top it all off, at the end of our show we were presented with this wonderful drawing by Emmeline, a precious little girl from our audience. Look at all the detail she incorporated! The stage door to the left, the music stand (but you can still see the guitars), the sponsor’s banner and all the stage lights hanging above. She’s quite an artist! Thanks for making that for us Emmeline, and thanks to Fremont and the concert sponsors for inviting us to your beautiful venue!

A Busy Week!

Wyatt: Allegan, Michigan, July 7, 2018

Wyatt: Allegan, Michigan, July 7, 2018

Wow– It’s been a busy week-or-so for us! What fun it was to play a concert with our country band, High Lonesome, at Allegan’s Good Times At The Gazebo last Saturday night, to entertain the elders at First & Main in Wyoming on Tuesday afternoon, present music to three groups of preschoolers in Hudsonville on Wednesday morning, play another summer concert with High Lonesome on Thursday night at Crystal Lake, entertain for a carnival in South Haven on Saturday afternoon, and perform during an art reception at Great Legs Winery Distillery Brewery in Holland last night!

Next week’s itinerary takes us north a bit, with a noon gazebo concert at Pennsylvania Park in downtown Petoskey on Wednesday, Music In The Park in West Branch on Thursday evening, Stroll The Streets with High Lonesome on Friday night in Boyne City, and Musique At The (farmers) Market in downtown Harbor Springs on Saturday morning! We can’t wait!

If you’d like to join us at any of these fun happenings and you would like more information about them, click on the “Events” tab on our Wyatt & Shari Knapp Facebook page! You can also check out our schedule at www.wyattandshari.com .Hope to see you soon!                               -Shari-

An Evening Of Music At Great Legs Winery

wyshar at great legsWe had a great time at our gig with the friendly folks at Great Legs Winery, Brewery and Distillery in Holland, Michigan last Saturday evening.  A cozy venue offering fabulous Lake Michigan shore wines, beers and spirits. And there’s a fine art gallery too!  The warm and inviting atmosphere was a welcome contrast to the late season wintry weather outside.  We invite you to come and see for yourself why they were finalists in the “Best of Holland Awards”.  It’s obvious Joanne and Jim love doing what they do.

Be sure to keep an eye out for the next time we’re there. You can sample and enjoy their fine offerings and we’ll play some tunes for you!             –Wyatt–

Catching Up & Starting The 2018 Season

This past year has been crazy busy for us and we’ve been quite remiss in sharing what’s been happening.  We’ll try to get some things up soon to let you know what we’ve been up to. Meanwhile, we’ve been hard at work lining up venues for our 2018 season and things are shaping up nicely so far!  You’ll want to stay tuned for event announcements here on the blog, and for the most up to date information you’ll want to refer to our schedule at  http://wyattandshari.com/schedule.html

When we’re not performing as a duo, you may find us rocking out in our Classic Country Band, High Lonesome! We had a blast playing for a dance last Saturday night. This private venue is a hidden treasure and looks like something right out of a story book, wouldn’t you say?!

We’re really excited to be playing as part of a full band, and venues throughout the state are liking our sound. So along with updates about our duo, we’ll share some of our High Lonesome band news here on the blog as well. Fun times ahead!! Stay tuned!!……..                                                                                                                               —Wyatt
